Artwork for this issue is by Ari Wolff (they/she), a multidisciplinary artist, writer, and educator based in Queens, NY. Ari’s work explores language as a visual object and proposes alternate modes of reading through mark-making, xerography, sculpture, text, and book arts. For the last decade, Ari has worked with schools and community-based organizations to create process-based projects that meet at the intersection of visual art and literacy. Ari is the co-author of the comic series Offstage Rock, along with writer, James Sneed, and the co-curator of FREE DRAW, a free, all-ages drawing initiative, along with DJ and artist, Myyuh.
